How to get to Athani

Driving from the north side of the island heading to Porto Katsiki or Egremni beach, you will pass through Athani. If travelling from the east side via Nidri you will still cross Athani on your way to Porto Katsiki.

Athani is a small mountain village (about 200 residents) located on the cliffs of the southwest coast of the island. The village is 34 km from Lefkada town, and 53 km from Aktion Airport (Preveza). The village faces the Ionian sea and is famous on the island for its stunning sunset views. 

 

Just a short walk along the main road, that crosses the village, will bring you to many bars, cafes and  taverns, all offering traditional food and other appetizing dishes.
